water pump leaks

My water pump keeps leaking out of that hole in the bottom. I have replaced the seal twice and it still leaks. Could the shaft be wore down that much that is just isn't sealing?? Would it be hard to replace that shaft?

its not that bad of a job- pull the entire clutch cover off and see if u can wiggle the shaft--- if u can u need to replace the bearing, middle seal, mechanical seal, impeller seal and the copper crush washer i done it all last night--- it took me around an hour by the time i changed the oil and drained the coolant and refilled everything--- and mine was extremely sloppy and it is an 06- :(
