oil question

i have a ratio-rite oil measure and everybody said to run my motor at 50.1 oil mixture and i was running a 32.1 oil mixture before i blew it up and they said to run it at 50.1 to brake the motor in but 50.1 oil ratio is are appears to be less oil than 32.1 am i correct are am i seeing things

i run all my 2 strokes at 28-1 break in and 32-1 raceing

also i dont run synthectic oils during break in as they do not seat the rings as well

thanks man i thaught i was reading that right so brake it in at 28.1 instead of 50.1 on 2.5 gallons

ALWAYS use the same oil ratio! doesn't matter if you're breaking it in or doing dyno pulls with it. if you change your ratio you need to rejet. your quad didn't blow up because of the oil ratio... amsoil makes a 100:1 oil for 2 strokes, and some guys on E2S found that they'll run to a ratio of 8:1 before plug fouling becomes an issue. i've always used 50:1 and never had an oil related problem, just make sure the clearances are set to the piston manufacturers specs, jet it properly, and always let it warm up.

what he is asking is a 50:1 mix less oil than a 32:1 mix. Thats the way it seems on the ratiorite jug

i need to riching it up the bike is running lean so i took out the 172 main and put in a 185 main and im going to run a 28.1 oil mix ture and go from there and see how that works out i hope for the best:confused:

thanks aceman im going to stick to 32.1 ratio in my bike like you say after reading this i thaught wrong for years about some things wrote in there that for sure thanks man
