Here is a pic of my 300ex with my old headlights.

HEY MAN- i'm about todo that to mine but first i have a few questions-
1-what are the lights that you bouht- what name brand-
2-here did you buy them-
3-those look a little big but- witch brand did you buy to replace them with-
4-how did you mount them to your bike-
5-are they bright
6-do they vibrate / shake around...
7-would you recomend doing this?
- let me know how you wired them- if the switch on your h-bars still works-high-low beams- and such- or do you have to use the switch that came with them-
elaborate on how you got them to mount to your bike-

i'm in the market now for some - i found some at wal-mart but they were amber lights- and wassn't sure about them- or how to put them on with out moving or shaking so bad you can't see with them.....
let me know somethin' man

my buddy did the same thing with the same lights(i think)...they shook like crazy and he had only one beam. I like them cause they look different, but I would get smaller ones. We all started calling my bud's 300 herbie cause at night the lights look like a VW beetle when they are shining on the hood!

I think i saw your buddys 300ex before..
As for the wiring.. I don't know how to do it because i bought the bike with those lights. Like canadian400ex said you do not get 2 beams.

Heres a pic of it that i found.
I was competing in it too.
I didn't do too bad, i would have done alot better if the goon running it paid more attention to me riding then he did his "attractive cosin".
Your friend there would have done good too if he hadn't have ran over the barrel (lol).

yeah that's the quad i was talking about.
As for the guy running over the barrel, that was actually my other good buddy on his banshee. I heard it was funny as hell!!

are you just screwin' them to the plastic or is there some sort of bracket underneath that fits to the frame- ??

i don't have front fenders- is why i'm asking

No I'm pretty sure that he ran over the barrel too. I do remember the banshee hitting it tho.
As for the mounting. i had to weld brackets on the fender brace that extend out so i can mount the lights.

i shaved mine and had to cut that brace for the fender-
it's hollow- so i can stick a piece of metal in there and welt it to it-
thanx man-
later
