what is the std. compression on the 05 trx450. im lookin to buy a std high compression piston. which would be my best bet?

10.5 stock compression

go with a 11.5

it doesnt really mather wich one! wiseco, je, arias, cp are all good piston compagnie.

why not 12:1?

depending of your type of riding.

if you're racing go with a 12+ if your trail riding i would considere buying a 11.5 .

youll be okay with about 12 to 1, if you about 13 to 1 is about the point you need race fuel. cp makes a real good shelf piston that 12 to 1, its about 200 bucks tho. je makes one too, and its only about 150, but still i would get the cp. it has wat more benifits then je.
