ya but im sure theres alot of these wheels still out there. Ppl buy used hipers everyday

5th gear and the wheel falls apart ??? Not my idea of a rush lol :eek2:

I doubt you will see many wheel failures. This was fixed ASAP and did not affect that many wheels.

I have hipers and love em (not ones on recall)

Probabaly going to throw hipers on all my bikes when i can afford to ;) ;)

Yea they were all over that recall within days of the first failures. If I remember right it was an issue with a bad batch of the billet aluminum being used and not really a problem with the manufacturing or design of the part.

They worked dilligently at trying to get every one of their wheels back to fix the problem.

It's one of the reasons they developed such a good name for themselves, very quickly.

ya these wheels are tuff. I bang my off huge rocks and trees almost daily and show no damage other than few ring nicks
