i got my hubs and sprocket off, trying to get the axle nut off..i think thats what it is anyways, the huge nut on the axle, is it reverse thread? it obviously doesnt come off.. i dont understnad, i can turn it both ways about 3/4 a turn or so. which way do i turn it.. and then what do i do??

it wasnt seized, i actually moved it with my hands (lots of force, but still)

I think there's a snap ring on the outside edge of the nut. thread it all the way in toward the carrier as far as you can and then look at the end of the threads and that's where the snap ring should be.. take that off and you'll be able to take the nut completely off. then slide the axle through the carrier.

im pretty sure its right handed threads. Get it pretty tight, clean the threads with a wire brush, put some WD-40 on it and it shouldnt be a problem. then after its loose enough there is a C-clip. Take it off and it should all come out.

alright guys ill go try and see if i can find this clip. is it on the tire side, or carrier side of the nut??

clip is on the outer edge (tire side)
I Suggest buying a factory honda service manual. they are very helpful, even for the "know it alls"

glad you got it out.Never heard of that carrier?? if they aren't tapered bearings you can probably get away with using a pivot works axle bearing kit. or oem honda bearings.

I usually buy my carriers from East coast atv on ebay for 119$. You can also get the bearings from him to rebuild
