I´ll be getting my new 450r '07 Kick star next week, and i was thinking about the cluth lever

it´s incredible that nowadays sport quads are still using old style clutch sistems, so i was thinking about solutions to do the cluth lever working softer than stock

1st option is to put in an Hebo hidraulic lever

2nd option is to put in a bike hidraulic lever, from KTM bikes for example (Magura i think)

3rd option is to mount an ASV lever

do you know if a KTM (for example) hydraulic clutch lever will fit in my 450r?

thanks

What are the advantages of a hydraulic clutch system?

It has a smooth easy pull that is less fatiguing to use than a standard clutch

Is it possible to get that magura clutch and put an ASV lever on it? I cant really see from the picture.

I really like the idea of a hydraulic ASV clutch

Just a question on those hydraulic clutches, do you lose some of the feel through them? i've heard that you don't quite have the feel of a standard clutch and that its harder to feather it and such, just wondering, i've never ridden with one.

Hydraulic clutches are very faster and comfortable than typical clutches

i think that is not possible to link an ASV lever to an hidaraulic lever sistem, because of they have different hooking to the cable, i don't know if you know what i mean

i'll try to find used Outlaw parts looking for the Magura lever

thanks a lot

I've ridden two different bikes with the Magura hydraulic clutch and I love it. I think its just as easy to feather as a standard clutch.

no i dont believe you can. the magura clutch lever has a adjustment on it for the pressure. i ran these on my cannondales and they are amazing. i am thinking of getting one for my 450r this winter to go along with my winter rebuild
