Just make sure you lube it before you put it up and it should be fine.

thats not a bad idea i didnt think of that, i forgot to lube my chain when i first got it and my quad had to sit outside one night and of coarse it rained and now my chains rusty, is there anything cheap that will get the rust off? i've seen some chain scrubbers in rockymountain i'm just wondering if i have anything around here that i could use and not hurt the o-rings

one thing that i do over the winter if my chain isnt stretched is this. Go buy an old deep fryer at a yard sale, or just ome cheapo at a store. Crank that sucker up to around 250 degrees. Put some motor oil in there and let it sit till it gets to temperature. I recommend doing htis AWAY from your garage or house, cuase it STINKS!! But leave it sit in there for about 2 days at temperature. What this does, is it helps get oil back in your o-rings. And after its done, u will notice your chain tightens up again becuase the o-rings are saturated with oil again, just like they did when they came from the factory!! Works like WONDERS!!! And u will pretty much have a brand new chain to put on your quad!!:D
