With a new Billet carrier, do I need O-rings

Will I need any O-rings with the new carrier? It came with double row bearings, seals, and grease zerks. As far as I can understand, the brake hub slides in the carrier's dust seal to seal out water and dirt. Is that correct? I know the old carrier had like 3 or 4 O-rings on it. :confused:

Take the old o-rings and use them as rubber bands. The only thing that they are good for is to hold water and mud in not out. Just make sure that you grease or coat the out side with anti-seize so that it will not freeze to the swingarm.
