Part two of a successful contest I had a few months back.

http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=305417&perpage=13&pagenumber=1

In that contest DerekHonda came up with Rhino. Very simple but thats all it took. The official name is Rhino Electrical Professional Corp.

Now we need a logo. Being a rhino there should be plenty of good ideas. Simply and memorable seems to be the best, but don't let anything hold back your ideas. I was very suprised with the other contest, I expect to be surprised on this one as well.

RULES:
This MUST be an original design and concept. Copyright violations are very very serious.
You must be willing to mail me the logo with your signature and address. Also saying this is an original and its now the property of Rhino Electric. (Sorry about that but apperently you can be sued for all the money you have made if you steal someone elses logo ideas)
I would prefer the logo to be of a high resolution so it can be enlarged to be put on vans, signs, etc.
Thats about it... the main concern is the copyright laws. If you have any questions please ask.

To give you an idea... this is a logo I was playing with, but it is not mine, and it would violate the copyright if I used it. But, I love this logo... it looks strong, and being a residential electrician who wants more commercial work, I think this logo looks more commercial. Feel free to change this logo, cause I do like this ALOT, but be careful, if someone can look at this and see anything resembling the original thats a problem.

The prize for this contest is.... $50-$70 depending on quality of the entries. I know you guys are good!

Contest ends?.. lets say around 11/30/1007 could be earlier, could be later depending on participation.

Post here or email entries to Trick440@comcast.net or RhinoElectric@hotmail.com

Good Luck & Thanks!

Actually, you want a vector image, either in .eps, .ai, or .fs format, so that no matter how big or small you make it (business cards or side of van), it will remain crisp and clear with clean, smooth lines.

If it's .eps, .ai, or .fs, any of your local sign shops can easily take the file and cut out the vinyl for your truck/van.

I'll work on something in my spare time.

Here's a black and white one. The rhino is completely original. It was drawn from 4 different photos of rhino's in different poses, and changed to suit what you're looking for.

It would be cool if you could make the rhino tail into a cord with a plug on the end, and make it swoop unter the writing. Just my .02 cents

I think there would be too much interpretation from co-workers in construction thinking they're going to electrocute your backside? :)

Ok last bump... come on!, its a Rhino its easy.. it doesn't even have to be a rhino , maybe just a horn or some other symbol.

Concept ideas are also good.
