Anyone have any suggestions for clutch kits for a 400ex? It has 440 kit w/ stage 3 hotcam and full LRD exhaust. Just put new rings and HD studs and added the exhaust and now the clutches are slipping a bit. Maybe from the extra H.P.????
What is a good kit????

Honestly, the stock clutch fibers and plates are about the best you can get. I know, it sounds odd, but they really are better than aftermarket kits.
If your fibers are worn out, I would suggest replacing them, but if they still have a lot of life left, go ahead and keep them in.
The only "upgrading" you need are a set of heavy-duty clutch springs, and you should be good.
