Im thinkin bout puttin the 426 kit in my 400. Do i have to bore it out or can i just put the sleeve in it? and is the 426 worth it?

well if you have a stock motor the 426 is a kick *** motor

i have minor stuff....i have a k&n air filter, high compression piston, and a jet kit

no sleeve is needed, my 426 has been together for 4 years on the stock sleeve.

but no matter what you it will have to be bored. whether you bor out the stock sleeve or install a big bore sleeve. the big bore sleeve you have to bore out teh actaull cylinder itself to install the larger sleeve then bore the sleeve to size.

i love my 426, power is great. pulls hard from bottom to top
