What is the stock front and rear size on a 05 450r?

and would you recommend dropping a tooth in the front if riding trails only.

most that have a 04-05 will drop 1 tooth on the countershaft, unless the motor is built. 14/38 stock

thanks, yea i have a couple of people that might go out there with me. Went to Highland park today, great xc training. Def. need some rain though.

I definitely recommend dropping to a 13T Countershaft Sprocket for trail riding/racing:)

Only if your are slightly modded or stock i would say. I know that when i was stock, i dropped a tooth. I then added a pipe and cam and went back with stock gearing because the motor could pull the taller gearing.
