lou since ur a big jumper i would not get acerbis rally pro or any type of handguard that wraps around and connects back to ur bar... when u jump its easy to get ur hand trapped and brake ur wrists... i did it to my acerbis rally pro and actually snapped both bolts that hold them on with my wrist... cost me a trip to the er...

i'd get acerbis flag or mx non wrap around style...

heres my wrap around acerbis rally pros...

I got my spoilers from Maier's web site www.maier-mfg.com.
The spoilers are only $7.99 a pair, I think. there easy to mount, they just attach to the guards with little nuts and screws that go through the slots in the guards. They help protect your hands even better than just the guards. Here's a pic from the back.

I think ricos gaurds are the oldstyle rally pro gaurds..

quado41, tommy has a valid point because he had a episode with them. I did too once. But seriously, there the strongest ones out. they will strengthen your bars too.

My bike flipped end over and and my stem bent bt my bars were still straight.

I think there great, you can add extensions on them to cover your hands and you wont have to worry about broken clutch/brake levers.

in my opinion there the best looking ones too.

thats the type i would suggest to u lou... bc if u like to run ur clutch lever pointing down it moves ur handguard down and don't protect your hands... but on the flag it is the only adjustable ones so they will always be pointing straight ahead and protecting ur hands... also u can get vented ones with holes in them so theres no wind resistance on it:huh

thanks tommy,
i saw the vented ones but they dont look as big as the standard ones, doesnt lookl like they offer as much protection.
