2.2 swap for 4.3 i need help

Alright.. i got another project .. this time its a 94 s 10 with a 2.2 4 banger with a standrd tranny and i wanna swap it with a 4.3 witch is a 95 lee me know what all i gotta do computer etc? thanks in advanced.. Joe

I am assuming either already have the 4.3 or your getting it for free. If your buying one, just get a V8. If your gonna go threw the trouble of a swap might as well throw in a v8.

you're best off goin to s10forum.com I did a 4.3 to a 350 swap, it was super easy, but it was tbi, I dont know if the 94 is?

you will need everything. nothing interchanges with the 2 engines. the tranny is different. the fuel pump is different, harness, computer.................... like the other guy said just do a small block.....

You will also need to do crossmember modifications, better rear, drive shaft..... Honestly, unless you plan on spending 10 grand, you should start out with a truck that has a 4.3 v6 from the factory.
