Blue Maier Pics

I finally got my new dark blue maier full plastic for a 400ex installed, I just need to put in the key and neutral light and my headlights then I'll be ready to go, I also made 2 custom brackets for the lower mounts because the ones that came were made for the fender extensions which looked goofy, plus i want to shave my fenders in a little while

and heres a better picture of the graphics, i got them off ebay, for only $15 with shipping, they were very, very hard to put on though because each single flame kept getting creases and it took a many resticks but it look's like they'll hold up good

yeah i definetly will, especially cause i'm planning to do somethin different with the light plastic :confused:

the front of the plastic doesnt look real great cause there are dual halogens hitting it from only 3 feet away but it's really nice

$270 shipped, I need to call up Golden West and get my tank cover though, they forgot to send it

i think it'll definetly look nice once i shave it, i'm just not sure if i want to keep the nips or shave them off, I'll prolly make it smooth so I dont have to worry about getting the edge really perfect

Why would you buy full fenders just to shav them off? Wouldnt it be cheaper if you just bougt the race cuts? Or is it cuz you wanted to keep ur lights?

i wanted to keep the lights, and i like race cut more than full so i didnt really have to many choices without spending extra for lights

Dude you shave those fneders and you'll be stylin ecpsicaially with those flames man! dont powerwash that at all on the flame part, might rip off!

yeah i'm gonna take it easy with the powerwasher, i'd hate to see those flames peel off

what do you guys think about getting some flames custom made to go on the plastic infront of the headlights, like where some graphics kits have a front sticker?

Yea, make sure your always in attention to not to hit those flames!, and also yea some red or chrome flames up front would look trick spreading out in a V shape around the headlight would be awesome!!!!!!!

I was wondering how k&k graphics would look on a blue quad, it looks really nice, i just dont like the space between the upper and lower graphic
