You aren't far from Carolina Motorsports Park. Truthfully, you really aren't that far for two of the Hatfield McCoy trailheads.

I haven't. I read up about it and it seemed like a really long way to travel for the limited amount of trails. Do you think it is worth a 4 hour drive? Are there any play areas with jumps or hillclimbs?

I guess it depends on your skills and how long you want to ride. my wife and have been twice - only a 1 1/2 drive - and have only spent about 4 hours riding total and only hit a couple of the trails - 30%. we enjoyed it quite a bit but my wife is a beginner and I'm only average.
from what we've seen it doesn't have play areas just staight to the trails. probably not worth a 4 hour drive for most but if you're in the area not a bad spot to check out...only $5 to ride a day. I don't think it is real far from Brushy Mt although I haven't been there yet.

Brushy Mountain is a good place to ride too. Some nice hill climbs even for beginners. The trails are single direction so you don't have to worry about running into anyone...except the lost. :eek2:

There is a small track with beginner level jumps too...nothing bigger than maybe a 20' tabletop.
