will a cr500 linkage shock bolt up to stock 250r linkage?if not what year cr500 linkage would i need?could i use a stock 250r s/arm?thx for all your hard work you guys do day in and day out.....

No it wont. The CR500 shock style is significantly longer than the stock style shock. You will need a CR500 link style swingarm. I believe a '93 CR500 linkage (not 100% sure on the year), and you will need a CR500 link frame. (Laeger's, Walsh, or PRD). All in all it will run you close to $4000 with shock, linkage, frame, and swingarm

Yep. Read the thread called "CRF and Stock frames" by Jnine, he gave me a lotttttta info bout the CR set up..

Yeah John Arens said there is basically no reason for the CR500 Linkage.

I have my sights set on it. If all most pros use it, its gotta be good. It does change the angle of the shock and seems like it would give more leverage against bottoming.
