Raptor 700 will probably win in both.

I have raced several raptor 700's against my ltr and have never lost to one, all with pipes. As for the climbing, I would say it would be how you ride it. For me, the 700 seems to be to wheely happy to climb as good as an ltr, just because the ltr is longer or at least feels like it.

I don't know how a 700R Raptor could lose they have soo much bottom end. It's like a tractor! I would have one of those if I didn't have my LTR.

i've come to da conclusion that its best to just get info from your own experience cause some people can't ride and some people i feel respond from no personal experience just what they would like to happen

the raptor may take the lt in a drag...maybe..but if i were to have to choose between the LTR of the Raptor i would def. pick the LTR any day.

There are just so many factors in that question. I race alot of 700's on the wifes LTR450 and usually have no problem. My wifes LTR450 has the right pipe .... Dasa and the right intake .... FUELATV and a power commander. She also has 66 roll out 6 cup haulers. Most of the raptors i come across have the wrong pipes, wrong intakes and sand stars. That equals an EASY win for the LTR. It is all about having the right parts to go fast, then the gearing and MOST IMPORTANT the rider. The LTR450 can be a fast bolt on bike with the RIGHT parts.

thats so wrong my ltr is nastyy at hill climbs u just need the right tires (stock ones are poo) and in the depate on whos faster, on bikes with both pipes its all the rider i was on my friends 450r he was on my ltr we decided to race he beat me on my quad then we raced but we were on our owne quads he beat me again its 95% rider both our quads are piped and hes jetted and i have a chery bomb both air box lids off . another friend of mine has a raptor 700 piped power commander type thing and air box lid off we raced i won by about 1 1/2 quad legths climbing hills i can detroy him ive even done hill climbs on his raptor its not as good always feel like your going to flip back

ltr was designed for one thing in general and thats mx so small tires are to be expected on there

a raptor was meant more for trails and dunes

since where on topic i have yet to see the black 08 models or know anyone with one did they change the engine in it? or was that just a rumor
