Someone local is selling a rolling blaster chassis for $400.

Here's his description.

"Yamaha Blaster as seen in the picturte missing motor and exhaust

Good tires, brakes, fuel tank, frame, wheels, steering and suspension

Basically a rolling chassis seems tight with no damage"

And a picture.

Could I get him down some more? or what should I do? I'm not a blaster guy so I'm not very good on this stuff.

I was thinking about some sort of hybrid deal, not sure.

i would buy that just for the hell of it and put some other motor in it! i say buy it, $400 for everything but the motor and exhaust is worth it.

Any other opinions?

I'm probably going to go look at it this week after a sell some stuff and possibly (probably) buy it.

Is there any where I should specifically look for cracks, bends, or any such things?

And what do you reckon would be a good motor to put in it?

I could pick up a motor from a 80's 90's era sport bike for cheap from a motorcycle salvage yard, but wouldn't that be knd of stressful on it since there's so much more weight that t has to push?

Shoot me some ideas/thoughts.

well you 1st have to see what size engine you could put in it, 250r motor maybe?

Nah, I'm just getting this to mess around on (so it needs to be cheap). It will probably turn into a beater for the sand pits around me.
