just play riding but i want to be able to keep up with my friends and they have 400's or bigger. i dont want to be left in the dust. i know im not goin to be the lead but i just dont want to get embaresed. (sp)

300's are nice, but you will outgrow the power. id go ahead and get a 400, ive had mine for a couple years niw and couldnt be happier.:) just my $0.02

i'm like 280 and i can keep up with a 400ex in the tight stuff, but any strait aways i get blow out of the water. 300ex is good for tight stuff though cuz it's narrower. i dunno, i've had mine for 3 years now and haven't had a single problem. They're a good quad!

There is absolutely no reason to buy a 300 when 400's are so affordable.

i bought my 04 400ex for 2200, and thats what i see most newer 300ex's go for
just get a 400 youll be glad you did:blah:

300ex is one of the best motors honda ever built. Keep the oil changed and don't do any motor upgrades and that thing will last a long time.

400ex is a good motor also but with the youth classes growing 300ex is actually easier to sell.

yeah but at 220, which i am also. the 300 doesnt have all the power even with motor mods to even come near keeping up with 400's and 450's. Plus once you outgrow and want more power youll hardly be able to get 1500 for it.
just go with the 400 youll be able to keep up and theyre reliable as hell.
