WANTED: Running LT250R For Under $1000

Looking for a RUNNING LT250R for under a grand. The rest of it doesn't matter if it's clapped out. I just need one that runs. It's for a buddy of mine that I am building a quad for. Year does NOT matter. I have CA$H!!

this is also for a friend, but he has a 86 LT250R with the top end done by trinity racing. its ported and has the head mod. IT DOES NEED A STATOR, his brother needed one for his LT. i have heard it run and i have rode it. he's asking 600 for it, but he's not willing to drive

I need this quad. I have been working on one for my friend for 6 months now and its such a hassle so I am going to buy one in good condition and combine parts from the 2 and get it to him by turkey day
