cannot keep my seat on have tried a bigger washer in the front still does not work any ideas or fixes for it.

Put a R cotter pin in. Seat won't come off again. This would go in the little hole on the latch.

A larger tool bag helps keeping the seat from flexing in the middle

I will try to stuff something in there to keep it from flexing the latch does not come undone in the back it just comes off the front of the quad.

Try wider washer on gas tank and glue some rubber on the gas tank and frame where the bumper are on the seat too fill the gap some I used old handlebar grips

check out the latch mech on the 08 but you will have to bay an 08 seat also

I talked to a pro mxer on the 450mxr and he said he has broken several of the pins on the new style seat. They were liking the old style more with the clip.
