Wow,
I just bought my first Dremel tool and wonder how I ever lived without it. I also bought the 182 piece accessory toolkit at Costco for less than 29.00 and it is going to make polishing out my dale so much easier.
Any tips for a new Dremel owner?....besides giving it plenty of food and water of course.........:p

I already bought that 3 foot flexible attachment, which is worth it's weight in gold. I did notice that I went through 2 wire brush attachments in about 5 minutes of brushing ...........JIM

My only advice is don't try to cut S-10 wheelwells with it:D When I was putting my 355 small-block in my S-10 the headers I had at the time had one of the tubes wrap around outside the frame rail and you had to cut a 6" square in the wheelwells. I went through about 10 fiber reinforced cutting wheels before I finally got done:D

Besides that it's a great little tool. I have the older model that only spins 13,000 RPM.

or the 182 piece kit was 29 dollars?

how much was the dremel?

(im rejetting my carb right now, i stripped out one of the carb boot hoseclamp screws, i figure i could gut a little strip in it and then put a flathead screwdriver in it and pry it out)

Let me know how much everything costs

don't even use those chincy cutting wheels. They are dangerous.

If you don't have one, but the attachment that looks like a tiny skill saw blade. They work better for cutting plastics.

Certainly a handy little tool.

industrial grinders are dangerous. If you don't hold them tight they will jump back at you.Thats how that scar on my leg came about.

What he said. I had one come apart on me and about 1/5th of the wheel came to rest in my arm. they suck to dig out:huh

I told the wife to stuff that set from Costco in my Christmas stocking.

dremel tools kick *****. a little story. me and a buddy start replacing a clutch master cylender on a ranger, everything is going good till the nutplate on the inside of the bulk head breaks loose. tried vise grips, channel locks and whatever else we could find, including an pnumatic cut off wheel. beleve it or not i ran a dremel tool for 4 hours, with very few 4-5 min breaks. finally got the damn thing cut off. after that i praise them.
