ok,
Today i went to change my oil for the first time.
I emptied the oil out of the oil tank, then changed the oil filter, Then when i went to open the bolt under the sifter to drain the rest of the oil...the bolt was stripped from the previous owner and now i couldn't drain the rest...So then i had to go home, so i poured a quart of honda 10w40 and just went home.....How can i get the bolt out to change the oil???

While i was heading home, it kinda sounded a little lower than usually.=/

Also, before any of this, today i had about 3/4 a tank of 86 octine gas and then i filled the rest up with 93 octine because i heard i was supposed to be running 92 or 93 octine. Is this a cause...it this bad??

Thanks,
AJ

if you are talking about the head of the drain bolt being stripped then get a pair of vise grips on there as tight as possible. if that wont get it loose goto an auto parts store and get easy outs for stripped bolts. i saw a set Saturday at the local auto zone

not unless u have a high comp piston. and still its not bad for it.. u just dont get max hp. for example i have 11:1 comp piston and u r supposed to run min of 93 octane but this weekend i was poor white boy and filed it with 89. no harm done =)

always run premium octane fuel i.e. 93, 92, 91. IT does make a differene you can issues with knocking and early detonation.

I never got detonation out of my EX. I always always ran 87 octane when it was stock. This will not hurt performance:rolleyes: Pump gas with higher octane isn't necessarily better. I suggest doing some major searching on "fuels" Try searchign for topics that GPracer2500 posted in.

I also ran 87 octane with my wiseco 11:1 piston.

Mixing octanes isn't really all that bad, its mixing different fuels like 110 race and 93 pump that I dont agree with. You guys can run whatever you want, but its your money to waste not mine.
