I have a 02' Sportsman 90 that I just bought a battery for. I couldn't remember the year so I ordered one for a 03'. The battery came and it was a little taller but fit fine. Hooked it up and wouldn't crank. The brake light came on and a clicking soud would come from the relay. Should the battery work for both years or is the relay clicking because there was a change in the years and something like they moved the sides of the battery post.
