Like the title says...I need a cheap 400. Here is the story: My buddy had a Z400 that was the community backup bike, but he sold it over the weekend. He hated to do it, but he needed the cash. I told him I would put out feelers and see what I could find.
Post up pics and include price, mods, location, and problems (if any). Stock bikes are fine (actually preferred because they are cheaper), as are bikes that need a little work. Remember, I am looking for something cheap. Honda, Kawi, or Zuki's are all okay. I am south of Kansas City, so within 500 miles or so would be cool.

Bump. I would also be interested in a 250R or maybe even a 300EX. Remeber, something needing some work is okay (like clutch, topend, whatever) casue I have all winter to get it ready.

You Said Cheap
So for the one i have it is cheap to me so i might as well try
I have a 2002 very clean 400ex
It is almost stock the only thing is i change the Sprocket and i also jetted the carbs.
There is nothing wrong with it, it has 3 minor scratches on the whole fiberglass
I took very great care of it, after riding it i had a spare air filter i would change at lunch, it has less then 100 hours on
if you are intrested please email me at dcbur2@hotmail.com
the price on it is $3000 make me an offer
thanks
Derek

That is a very clean 400EX...nice! However, that is a little more than we are looking to spend right now. Thanks anyway.
