I have Flexx bars on my 05 450R and two of the protective aluminum cases to mount it to the bars. What's killing me is if I mount it towards my gas tank, it will rub the gas cap, if I mount it ahead of the bars, I can't see it due to the way I like my bars mounted. Anyone have any other ideas or mounting points? I'm thinking of engineering a way to mount it in the pad of my Flexx bars...any thoughts on that?

That's what I was looking for, thanks D3! I also see you are running the yellow elastomers in the Flexx Bars, I'm going to try them out this weekend. All the guys I ride with are saying yellow is the best.

Yup they're great.
My wrists don't hate me anymore now if I land uneven.

I was thinking about giving the blue ones a try.

Dunno I'm hopping to eliminate more of the small bump jitter in the corners.

or it will just bee too soft and you will like bottom out the bars when you land a jump and it will hurt lol. i just feel like the blue would be more for xc or something. i guess we will see though

Not a problem, I don't considerate it a hi-jack, there's some good info being shared and smacktalk being thrown down! ;)
