I'm pretty sure it is either the valves or timing chain. But i just had the timing chain replaced not even 6 months ago so i dont realy think it could be that, but it sound the same way it did before so I dont know
Any ideas on wut it could be???

hey I'm his friend but to make a quicker reply for him,
he told me the ticking is loud, loud enough to hear over the engine.

from my past experience with the z's i typically replaced the valve springs with the chain. could be time to replace your springs if so you might be a good idea to have a look at the valves and seats replace them as necessary. check your tensioner if you have the stock one they kind of suck. there are a couple places you can get manual adjusting style tensioners. see if any of this helps

if you can hear it over your motor take the 30 mins and set ur valves back to spec

yeah, my valves needed to be adjusted. thank god i did because i had pretty much zero clearance. the motor becomes a ticking timebomb if you let it b for a while. so get that taken care of dude.
