my sons chain broke in the second moto this weekend and broke a hole in his case. i would rather buy a whole bottom end. bad thing was it was the last race of our series. 2 1/12 laps into the race he had just passed a suzuki ltr 450 in a corner for second place and was chasing down first place which was another suzuki ltr 450 when it happened.

I have a stock 93' 300ex with the first fresh top end on it. (.010 over with 11:5 wiseco) My wife only rode it a couple of times before the carrier seized up. I will sell it as it sits for $1000, you put a fresh carrier in it and its good to go. It has stock wheels and tires with about 50% tread. I have never messed with the bottom end at all .

Plastics (all red) are ok with one meted spot onback fender where pipe goes. Located in Amarillo TX if your interested.
reply and i will send you some pics

I had a chain break and bust up my bottom end. I went on ebay and picked a newer bottom end for $400. I still have my completed bottom with a hole in it.

thanks for the replies. i patched the hole with jb weld. a friend found me a set of cases a guy had that was cleaning his shop out so i got them for free. right now i am putting the hybrid back together and when that is done i will tear the 300 down and replace the cases. was thinking about selling the quad since my son will be racing the hybrid from now on but may just keep it for a play quad and pit bike. bought me a blast cabinet and powder coat gun so i been using the 300 as my test mule to get this powder coat thing figured out. so far i have powdered the swing arm, levers, handle bar clamps, throttle housing and starter cover. getting ready to try my hand with some red candy on it next.

well i built the hybrid for my older son a few years ago. he is 20 now and has a baby and gave up racing. my younger son is 14 now and raced mini quads for 5 years. he moved up to the 300 about 9 months ago. locally he has to run the beginner class and all are 450's. he just finished 3rd in the points in a local series on the 300 so i thought it was time to put him on the hybrid. only problem he has is kicking it. these 426's are a bear to kick
