Massachusetts Machining

I was wondering if anyone knew a place in Massachusetts where I can get some machining done on the 400ex.

thanks for the suggestion. Im planning on making my 400ex to a 416 this winter and I was trying to find a place that I could get it done. I know this place like 20 minutes away from me called Bettencourts and they said they would charge me around 600 bucks. When I called Muff's they said only 150 bucks. It a bit of a drive from me cause it's near the Conn. and R.I border.

A simple bore job shouldn't cost more than $60-$70, or are you giving them the entire quad to do? Thats probably why you have two very different price quotes. One is probably for strictly machining, and the other to do the whole job.;)

they said 50 to bore the motor and than 100 for the install....i didnt specify weather or not I was going to bring in the whole quad. Either way I'm gonna go to Muff's just because its so much cheaper. I'll take the engine out if I have to. 600 bucks is just way too much, I know bettencourts does good work but 600 bucks is rediculous
