View Full Version : Minimum recomended height?

I'm wondering what you guy's recomend for a minimum height on the 250f dirt bikes from yami,kawi,and suzu? any suggestions

My friend has a KX250F. I rode it for a while today and I am like 5'8" and I could flat foot no problem.:cool:

there are lots of kids hauling the mail on those things that cant even touch the ground.

ya but he wants to be able to touch. I'd say 5'6" at least to tippy toe. 5'8" is a perfect height to feel comfortable though IMO.;)

im like 5 foot 5 1/2 flat foot no shoes so in riding boots im roughly 5 foot 6 1/2 - 5 foot 7 i assume? is that good or no?

id say you'll be ok. you will grow into it. and how tall is RC, hes gotta be like 5-8, 5-9?

yeah rc is only 5' 4" and 5' 8" is about the right size for that bike to be perfect unless you are good rider

would adjusting the shock help any?

You could get a lowering link. Also cutting the foam seat helps a bit too. Many ways to lower it. All I have to say is they are sick fricken bikes. My buddy has an 06 KX250F with a 12.5:1 wiseco piston slip on yoshi and factory connection suspension back to front and the thing is insane. The power is unbelievable. 3500 bucks.:cool:

I rode my buddies CRF250R and it was suprisingly fast.

Im 6'0" and I could flat foot with no problem at all. Id say 5'8" is about the shortest you could be and still flat foot. You could deff. tip toe it though.

Just be careful with it, those bikes will suprise the hell out of you very fast. And ive seen worked over 250f's that couldnt keep up with a 450 built for MX. It's all rider when it comes to comparison.
