first turn off the caps!

then try a new battery. in my 13.5:1 stock bore the battery was stuggling to turn it over. i went with a battery for a hayabusa. fits in the stock spot no problem and you have to turn over the bracket. after all that i have had no problems starting.

i got it from napa the part # is 12-bs

it fits just fine but is a little taller, so you have to either flip the battery strap over or build a new strap. i used a piece of aluminum and drilled new holes and bent it over the battery and have had no problems.

it fires up very easily and i run both lights wired together and have had zero problems.

also the napa battery has a 1 year no questions asked warranty. all the others are 6 months.

i paid around $60 for it. i got it through a shop not napa direct so it could be cheaper at napa. i had to have it right then as i was leaving on a trip and the stock battery was not cutting it due to age and the strain i was putting on it.
