My buddy just bought an AC Racing chasis skid plate but the plate isn't even close to the mounting holes on his 89 lonestar frame. The numbers for the skid plate match the numbers in the catalog for a 250r though. Has anyone else had a problem with this before?

I know on my Arens the rear 2 holes have to be redrilled, I think Lonestar may be the same way.

we measured the distance between the mounting points on his lonestar frame and they match the mounting points on my stock frame.

I had to redrill the holes on my chassis skids for my Lonestar Chassis', they're not even close to the stock location.

The skidplate is way to long. Im confused because owner of the local motorcycle shop said that the catalog also says that it will fit the lonestar chassis.

it could be a shorten axle for TT racing. Are the 86-87 and 88-89 skid plates the same, the swinger is longer on the 86-87. I have yet to buy an aftermarket skid plate that the holes lined up completely, but completely missing the hole location I havent incountered.

The swingarm skidplate lined up perfectly. Its the chassis skid plate were having problems with.
