I'm installing my bushings in my JRD Arms and I wanted to make 100% sure. What is actually supposed to rotate in the bushing? Is the metal sleeve supposed to rotate inside the bushing when the suspension travels? I honestly had to use a vise and a BFH to get the the first sleeve into the bushings, as you can imagine they were a bit beat up. Should they be even close to this tight?

Were the a-arms completely cleaned of debris, rust before pressing the bushing in? It'll compress the bushings and close the hole up tighter if not.

The sleeve is a spacer for the a-arm bolt to tighten against instead of crushing the bushing together making the a-arm immovable. The bushing should rotate on the sleeve when working properly. I smear Bel-Ray waterproof grease on the sleeve and inside the bushings as well before assembly.
