Was wondering how often I need to change the oil on my 400EX. What if its just been sitting in the garage for about 6-12 months, do I still need to change it?

Change it all the time, like after every weekend or every other.

thats weird...the owners manual says every 100miles or 20 hours of riding...:confused:

depend how hard u ride but usually 20 hours

like every month, even sooner sometimes, somrtimes i ride hard, and sometimes i cruise.

Since my tune ups, I change my oil every 10 hours. When it was stock, I did the same as mentioned above, I changed it when it started changing color.

I change mine about every 2 months and thats riding like 3 times a week,or i also change it according to the weather temp,that makes a huge difference also

i change mine when it starts to turn from gold to the slightest brown or every 3 - 4 tanks
