What do you think of this.It is a .223 Wilson fluted bull barrel with free floating handguard,1:9 twist with a Tasco 6-24x42mm scope.I think there are going to be alot of dead ground hogs and prarie dogs in the future

Cool stuff ! I have always liked those flat-top .223's with the round hand guards.

We have two of those, one ranch gun, and one stainless steel.
We put a mil-spec scope on the stainless one and use it as a cyote gun.

yea thats a harris brm 6-9, harris pods are the only kind i will buy in their category, stock is bell carlson weatherby varminter, rings are talley, scope is super sniper 10x with caps and sunshade, next for it is a trigger job and TIS sling.
Edit: i looked at the photo, the bipod in the photo is a 9-13? harris, it has a 6-9 one it now, the long one was just used till i got my short one, I like the short one alot better, the long one stays on my 270, i keep 110 gr hornady vmax reloads in it, you should see what that does to hogs

A friend that I deer hunt with and a couple of his friends are going to try going to Kansas next year to prarie dog hunt.I am going to take my ar-15,my .270(I am going to load up some 100-110 gr rounds)a .243 with bull barrel(it's my cousins), and probably a .22 I have done a little research on Kansas hunts and you can average between 400-600 shots per day.I really don't want to burn up any barrels ,thats why I am taking 4 different guns

2 of the guys I hunt with have a 204 and 223 my 243 heats up alot faster than them, the 223 probably stays the coolest longer.
