06 450er Fan Not Running Cdi Bad?

Alright guys here is what i got, last two times at the track bike was running hot so i came home and started running some tests, grounded temp sensor wire light turns on fan does not run, test fan and fan is bad so i replace it with a new one, ground wire to test system and the fan still does not run, start checking the CDI it is receiving the ground signal from the temp switch but not turning on the fan, could the bad fan have taken out the circuit in the CDI or the CDi taken out the fan? i have the fan running at all times now with the key on and have not tried another CDI yet until this weekend, some give me there 02 cents.

yep i just had the same problem- i wired the hot lead to fan to a constant red power from the stator-- works great-

I had to do that the second week i owned mine. but i just bought all new stuff so i aint worried.
