holeshot hds weight

for anyone interested i just replaced my hds with razr mx rears 18s and holeshot mxr6s on the front. the only reason i have the mxr6s is the the razr mx were backorded. till the end on november. so i theres one of the holeshots on the scale without a rim on it and it weighs 20lbs:eek2: and then i threw a razr mx on it mounted up and weigh 15lbs. thats quite a difference. no i know the mxs are only 2ply and i plan on only using them on the track. and my hds are only for trail...so i think im gonna save 30lbs by swithching the tires :eek2:

all depends on your conditions, MX you dont have sticks and such that puncture your tire. for XC you need a thicker ply tire. and i have skid plates that weigh so much its crazy.
