I have the white brothers power filter and its almost 3yrs old and starting to come apart from repeated washes. So its time to move it to the back up who's got the best flowing foam air filter. Don't want k&n I woods race gotta be foam. I've been looking at curtis sparks and pro design. If it makes any difference I'm gonna be running the power now valve set-up by spring time. Just looking for input, horror stories, the truth is always much appreciated also.

Why so dead set against K&N? I ride in the woods with one all the time and I've had zero problems. Anyone who says they dont work is either not cleaning them right or not oiling them right.

I'd suggest stock or Twin Air. You could also run the Outerwears airbox cover for added protection.

I have a uni with an outerwears airbox cover. Works well for me. No problems with mud or water.

No Toil's oil and cleaner products work awesome, best I've used. Also ran their air filters this season and not a single complaint!

I run the hrc lid and i have an outerwears for the filter but. the outerwears throws off my jetting a little so usually don't run cause i got a partial lid. Its not that i"m dead set against k&n but they do allow particles in. more pros run foam filters for a reason

I recently found that out and bought some, it gets hot just like the No Toil stuff. It works just the same. Still have to buy the spray though.

ive used uni filters on my 06 for two years almost--- i love them and they are cheap enough to have two or three to make it through the race weekend without cleaning filters--

For years I was dead set against K&N style filters. Then I got this Fuelatv intake for my ltr and while its not actually a K&N it is pretty much just like one. I have seen zero traces of dirt/dust in my intake so far, and all I ride is dusty silt covered trails. Fuels filter is an 8 layer design and I hear that most K&Ns are 4 layer, maybe thats the differance. I clean my filters religiously and always take spares so I don't ride on one for more than one day. But for foam, I like UNI's and love no-toils filter products.

I love the No Toil filters, cost me $20 and when they start falling apart I just call No Toil and I mail them the filter and they replace them free, including free shipping.

I learned something else too, did you know there are only two manufactures of this filter material in the world. So chances are, whether you are talking sparks, no toil, uni, etc., makes no difference, it's all the same!

Anyone know how well that Motoworks No Oil Air Filter works? You never have to oil it and they guarantee it for life, but its $130...so it better work and last awhile.
