sprocket size? MX setup?

Can someone give me an idea of what gearing I should be using for my mx setup.

265 PV mid to top end port 38mm AS carb with a sparks TT pipe.

18 in turf tamers on the rear.

is pretty much standard depending on track,some people run 14/38

i run 14/38 and it seems to work pretty well..... 14/36 would be more top end correct?

yeah, with slightly less responsiveness coming out of corners... i run 14/38, but I prefer to let the motor lug its way out of corners versus slipping the clutch. to each his own :cool:

either of the two gears that were mentioned will work but ultimately you'll want to try a combination yourself to see which your quad likes the best for the riding en setup you have. ;)
