If you had to pick what would you race? UTV vs ATV

If you could only do 1, would you rather race a UTV or ATV cross country?

For those you dont know a UTV is like a rhino, RZR, ect

At this point in my life, I would LUUUUVVV to race a RZR.
But my kids keep my @ZZ too broke ! :ermm:

That makes 2 of us. Only problem they seem to break ALOT!

My parents, my GF all want me to race them if they start a series over here. Mainly because they are safer.

They just seem expensive to upkeep:(

True dat!:ermm: Guess it looks worse when I seen a RZR this weekend with a broken rear and front a arm:scary: Mostly blown tires is what I saw and some broken front ends (bumper is a must)


I guess on the drivers side you will have to have boo-koo and the passenger side will have Monster:D

I loved how dana crech's machine looked and it was fairly simple.

mainly safey stuff, but he had exhaulst, front shocks and tires and rims.


You want one of them 30k machine lol.....I aint got that money.

Maybe Rath will let you take it for a spin on a heat race lol

thats very low budget for the worcs series.

here in the east rumor is GNCC is going to keep putting on UTV races. And since there in the woods, a fairly stock machine with a good rider could do good.:D

I would never quit racing quads, but I would love to race a UTV. Desert and Shortcourse.

I've got an interesting design for an Unlimited Class UTV, that might be possible to have built in the next 2-3 seasons.(Depends on some business ventures......IE: MONEY!, lol).

We shall see:devil:

This is a pretty crazy desert rhino that would be a blast to race.

Yeah, there was talk of Mark having almost 50,000 invested. Although possible, I would have my doubts that it was actually that much. It was decked, but not THAT decked. But I could be wrong. It was definitely quick....but really not all that much quicker then Jeff’s Rhino...I’d expect an annihilation with 50,000 invested.

UTV's are a TON of fun!! But unfortunetly very costly to race:( For short coarse/MX(and all other events) style racing there are Many safety requires ranging from the chassis structure, fuel system, safety items, and alot more! Id say all said and done just to "get by" and meet all the rules to race your looking at 30,000. Now if you want to be competitive, the sky is the limit:devil:

I plan on finishing my rhino build this winter, been side tracked alot here lately, but cant wait to finish the cage/chassis and all the other goodies!
