I am building a BRAND NEW TRX250R Motor. I have pretty much all the pieces besides the internals (Crank, Bearings, Rod, Tranny, etc.)

Parts that I already have:

Brand New Case Halves
ESR310R Cylinder
ESR Billet Head
ESR Billet WaterNeck
Spacer Plate
Hinson Quick Change - Hopefully
Full Hinson Clutch Kit
Stator Case

I am curious to know if cryoed tranny gears are stronger than Yukon gears.

Also where can I buy Yukon Gears?

If anyone has any of these pieces that they would like to sell, please email me at danhung11@gmail.com. THEY MUST BE BRAND NEW! I will obtain the prices that I can get from my hookup at the local Honda Shop and will compare with the offers that I receive.

Thanks for looking!

Attached is a picture of my bike that this motor is going into!

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks pimpt250r!

Question: Reason there is no 1st gear...is that because you start in 1st and never really just slam it into 1st? as opposed to the other gear?

Have you ever experienced with Yukon Gears vs. Cryoed?

:D

I think the reason they dont make it with a 1st gear is because its connected to the shaft that holds the other gears to it ,
c-leigh could recomend someone for kryo parts

really dont know much on this subject personally but the yukon gears seem to be a popular choice. Baldwin and Duncan sell them (or used to) but your probably gonna get em cheaper from fleabay.

i cant say one way or the other as to whether or not the cryo treated gears are as strong or stronger than the yukons but, can say that they are far superior to the stockers and is lots cheaper to have them treated..

the last two trans i had treat were sent to a company in texas. you may want to do a net search and find one that is closest.
