Thanks for the compliments.. That was one of the big reasons I went with the green. plus the price was great.. I got it all for $86 from Maier.. Its not the shiny, but I dont see spending the money on shiny when it will look like mine in a couple of months.. You can spend the other $400 on a new swing arm or something..

Kicker. Yea thats about what I paid for them. Remember they arent the new shiny stuff. Go on their website and go under sales, you will see some drop down boxes to choose from. It will list what they have, but look over at the far right of the screen and it will tell you what the price is NOT the price under the item..

There is only one catch. When ordering they do not know what they actually have in stock, so you have to place an order then wait for them to respond whether they have it or not.. So you might not be able to get everything you are looking for.. I ordered a set for a 400ex at the same time and they were sold out.. But for the price you cant beat it.. Why by the shiny stuff when most people cover it with grafics and stickers any way..

Lets see some updates. Well the frame is charcoal metallic with clear, but will soon be mirror black.. The charcoal looks too much like stock.. I did the swing arm in translucent purple, which came out killer, but doesnt really match the plastic, so now it is chrome.. Can anyone see a pattern here?? I think I am color blind, it always looks good on paper:) Oh yea I did the axle in chrome also came out pretty good for being a stock unit.. Here is a pic of the swingarm before I changed it to chrome..

No word on my shocks yet, but I haven't bugged Baldwin either. I still haven't totally decided on which a-arms I am going to run.....I was leaning towards the American Star arms, price was right, but not positive now....I have new tie rod ends and protective boots on the way, a complete gasket kit on the way and have my rear Razrs, all 4 reinforced wheels. much more to do........JIM
