Is this the rebound adjustment? The flat head scew on the bottom of the shock? If I turn it one way it makes it harder and the other way softer? Thanx for help

I cant wait to test mine out, I havent gotten to really ride on it yet, im still waiting for my a-arm to come in. Is it hard to bottom out?

this setup is around $200 or so, and the works rear shock is around $500. So, why spend the extra $300? anyone?

That extra 300 could go towards front shocks or other mods

But is the works setup worth the $300 more is my question.

That's his rezzie on the left side of the frame. but is the works shock worth the 300? "no" it has no rebound adjustment that worth alot to me and about 125 to works.

300EXhiller - I lived in manchester for 12 years. No, I didnt have to relocated the shock mounts w/ the 400 a-arms and 250R shocks, heres a pic.

So works charges 500 for their 300ex rear shock, and it doesnt have rebound adjustment, just preload? that sux

suckmypipe-thats the rezzie to the raptor shock man, lol

I'm putting on a Raptor shock today on the 300ex, but don't have a clue where to start with the adjustments for compression and rebound. I'm 200 lbs so I'm keeping the stock spring. As a guess, I'm starting at 5 clicks from full clockwise on both. Is this even close? Anybody got the Yamaha instructions?

How do people like their raptor shock on their 300ex? I still havent gotten to try mine out yet, my a-arm is on backorder and my shocks are on their way to the quadshop. How does it feel compared to the stock 300ex shock? What adjustments have u made and how did u like it? Thanx for info, im anxious to see how it performs
