I was looking into getting maybe a 350 powervalve. I was wondering what kind of reliability with meticulous maintence to expect. I know that they have a greater cooling capacity then stock, so I figured that the motor should be decently reliable.
Thanks for any help,

Sam

Just going from what I've read but once you start running a 350cc+ engine everything should be beefed up if you want good(?) reliability. Oversized radiator, hardened/cryoed gears, fresh crank, fresh bearings. Basically you need to have everything in good running order, it's not just slap a 310 topend onto your all original 86 bottom end that's never been rebuilt and run it for another 100hrs.

I wouldn't do it, but I'm kinda partial to this 310.:p

Pro-x cylinders are quite reliable as far as cylinders go.

Make the bottom end rock solid before adding more power = $$$
