I noticed from many of the pics I have viewed of other peoples rides that there were many without a swingarm / sprocket guard on the rear???? Is that what everybody is doing now?

I have installed the AC racing .250" thick rear plate and have had to shim it down about 1/4" to make it clear the chain???

Any light on this subject area? Or insight ??

i had the same problem.
i just put more washers between the swingarm and the skid.

Check out Dirt Wheels this month they did some simple bolt on stuff to the KFX and one thing was way cool swing arm guard with built in chain guide, some thing the Kawasaki needs.

OK Then.

I thought I was just retarded because I used 3 or 4 heavy washers to get the skid plate to clear the chain/sprocket.

i will check out Dirtwheels to see the newly tested skid plate with chain guard.

Anybody else have solutions for this subject that have been working for you??? Woods / Rock riders??? I know you have busted a sprocket or two!!
