I have been playing around with e85 for a few days now and wanted to know if anyone was doing some of the same. Its dropped to 1.89 gal in my area and its easy to find so i thought id try it. Im no stranger to alcohol with all the micro sprints around me and even after owning an alcohol drag car for a few years. So far i have felt an improvement but i needed some larger mains and some more shims for the needle so i couldnt push it any further. So far these are my only modifications on my 07 and it will run on 50-50 but it is not as rich as i would like it. If my calculations are correct a 185 main should be where i need to end up at assuming that the jet chart in the how to section is correct. Im going to give Colby a call tomorrow for some larger jets and see what happens. If all goes well this is a cheap 2 hp gain that will pay for its self.
