I want a 250r sooo bad but i need a powerful quad that wont get beat and that will like rip my arms off lol. well if i get a pipe, silencer, filter, reeds, ram , and porting will it have an extreme pull of power and what gears will it wheelie in without any clutch use thanks. one more thing is there any othere cheap mods for it thanks please respond

u get a pipe, reeded, k&n'd R, with a lil bit of chasssi in it, that will be more power than ul even need

Well it says in your sig you have a 400Ex. I would worry about getting a nice 250R first. And most 250Rs thqat you will find are gonna have quite a bit of mods on them already.

all 250r's are fourtrax's. 250r's were made from 86 til 89. u will want to find a later year if possible (a few things were better on the 89). a decent condition near stock 86-87 in my area is about $3200-3500 and a near stock 88-89 is around $3500 to $4000. before u go buying something, bring someone with u that has some knowledge about 250r's. make sure u check for cracks in the frame, bad bearings, bent axle, etc. its pointless asking if its ever been wrecked because after 13-17 years there is a good chance that someone has tipped it. but ask if it was raced, how many owners, bore on top end, ask how often ridden, etc.
