300ex 400ex bumper???? help!!!

When i was learning to ride i crashed (who didn't) but i ruined my beutiful AC bumper and didnt want to spend money on a new aftermarkt one, so i put the stock one back on. so now i found a bumber that i like but its for a 400ex not a 300ex will it fit my 300ex frame?
with minimal to no modifaction????

The 400ex bumper will fit with a couple of spacers(1/8"-1/4") on each side of the upper mounts. Lower mounts should bolt right up. I have a 400ex ac mudscreen on mine and didn't even need the spacers...I just bent the upper mounts inward a little.

I have a 400ex and got an old school dg bumper off of ebay for a 300ex for $19 including shipping. I put a piece of wood on the concrete followed by a thick towel and proceeded to pound the upper mounts with my rubber dead blow hammer. It wasn't even like a REALY pounded it, just a little. It was actually big but the bolts drew the bumper in for a perfect fit.
